The Malta Association of Occupational Therapists is the sole voluntary organization representing the occupational therapy profession in Malta and Gozo.
Our Mission
The MAOT provides a national and international platform for Maltese Occupational Therapists through the promotion of the occupational therapy profession; the provision of opportunities for continuing education; the maintenance of high standards of professionalism and by providing a unifying forum for the profession. The MAOT values and empowers the involvement of its members in the ongoing development and strengthening of the occupational therapy profession.
Our Vision
The MAOT aims to maintain the highest professional standards by keeping its members up to date with the most current trends and issues and developments in the occupational therapy sphere by fostering a closer liaison with other local and foreign professional associations, NGOs, and other bodies; and by ensuring the highest ethical principles.
